Dans cette histoire, le Roi Démon Leonis s’est lui-même scellé pendant 1 000 ans afin de se préparer à la bataille finale. Mais à son réveil, il se retrouve dans le corps d’un garçon de 10 ans.
Il fait rapidement la rencontre de Riselia, une jeune fille confrontée aux Voids, des créatures ayant presque exterminé l’humanité. Déterminé à percer les mystères de cette étrange nouvelle époque, Leonis s’inscrit à l’Académie Excalibur, une école qui forme les élèves à combattre ces monstres énigmatiques. Les Voids pourraient-ils avoir un lien avec le passé de Leonis ?
