Synopsis Ghost in the Shell: Arise – Border 1: Ghost Pain

Nous sommes en 2027 soit un an après la fin de la guerre-non nucléaire. Une ville relativement paisible appelée New Port est attaquée par des terroristes. L’armée japonaise décide de répliquer en postant son armée en plein cœur de New Port. Mais les terroristes frappent à nouveau. Une enquête est ouverte par le gouvernement nippon et celle-ci est confiée à la section 9 dirigée par Daisuke Aramaki. Afin de renforcer son effectif, le leader de la section 9 a intégré à son équipe un nouveau membre : une jeune demoiselle répondant au nom de major Motoko Kusanagi.
