Cette histoire se déroule quelque temps avant l’arrivée de Chise au Collège. Spriggan se rend chez Chise et Elias pour leur rapporter les nouvelles d’une étrange nouvelle chasse sauvage.
Une autre partie de l’histoire se centre sur Gabriel, un jeune garçon qui en assez de se séparer de ses amis et de vivre dans un pays qu’il ne connaît pas. Il lèvera le voile qui le cache du monde de la magie.
