Exclu d’un groupe d’aventuriers suite à une expédition raté, apparemment à cause de lui, Rude, le tank, reprend la route de son village natal pour rejoindre sa sœur malade.
En chemin, il sauve une fille, Luna, d’une attaque de monstres. Cette dernière lui révèle alors qu’il dispose de compétences dont il ignorait l’existence. Rude, considérant cette opportunité comme un nouveau départ, reprend donc la route de l’aventure pour trouver un remède afin de guérir sa sœur.
