Synopsis Giant Robo the Animation: The Day the Earth Stood Still

En 2023, une invention révolutionnaire vu le jour : “le Shizuna Drive”, grâce à celle-ci, tous les problèmes énergétiques de la planète ont pu être résolu. C’est une source d’énergie, non polluante et économique. Tous les autres types d’énergies ont été remplacés par cette invention, et cela a pu ouvrir la porte à la prospérité et à la paix.
Mais derrière tout cela, il y a bien sûr une face cachée, une mystérieuse organisation, nommée “BigFire”, complote pour prendre le pouvoir de la Terre, son but premier est de semer le chaos en détruisant cette source d’énergie, ce qui leur permettrait de régner sans partage.
Bien heureusement, un groupe essaye de lutter contre leurs agissements avec l’aide des “Experts de la justice”, ainsi qu’un jeune garçon, nommé Daisaku, qui les aidera avec l’androïde le plus puissant de la Terre “Giant Robo”.
